Q: What is the difference between Natural Soy Wax candles and paraffin candles?
A: We are finding more and more that our customers prefer the Natural Soy Wax candle that we offer, due to the fact that they put out far less soot than other types of candles. Many feel that their Natural Soy Wax candles give off a stronger scent, and because it is a slower burning candle, they seem to last longer than other types of wax.

Q: What is the proper way to burn a candle?
A: Simply follow these instructions...
- First and foremost, you should always remember, NEVER leave a burning candle unattended.
- The first time that you light the candle, you should allow it to burn until it has a complete layer of melted wax across the top of your candle. (This layer is called the melt pool)
- Keep wax free of matches, wick trimmings, or other flammable materials.
- Keep wick centered and trimmed to 1/4" to prevent smoking and soot buildup.
- Burn only on a stable heat resistant surface for not more than 3-4 hours at a time.
- Discontinue burning when only 1/2" of wax remains in bottom of container.
- Do not move candle while burning or if wax is hot.
- When putting the flame of a candle out, you should either use a wick dipper, or if you must blow the candle out, then put your finger up between you and the candle, then blow. This will help prevent pieces of burned wick from flying into your candle wax.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
